The Mojave Desert Ecosystem Programs has been developed to provide resource managers in the Mojave Desert Ecosystem with a common spatial database from which integrated resource planning can be accomplished.

The RS /GIS Laboratory in cooperation with Department of Defense and the BLM have assembled a database package which covers approximately 80,000 sq. miles of desert in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.These data are available as individual co-registered layers through the Mojave Web Site at <http://www.mojavedata.gov>.

Or the data can be ordered in a set of eight interactive CD-ROMs packaged with three maps at 1:750,000 scale and a booklet describing the database structure and access.
